Saw these guys many a time. Deborah Conway was the lead singer. I remember "Man Overboard" sounding as good live as it did on record. The Southern Cross Hotel later became the Stawberry Hill Hotel. I think.
A collection of scans of Rock Band memorabilia from Sydney in the 1980's. And vague recollections of attending various gigs and events. We'll see how we go.

I caught them many years ago (sometime in the early 80s) at the Uni of QLD refectory supporting the Divinyls (who were crap) and they were great live.
Deborah Conway's voice is truly fantastic, it blows you away...

Divinyls were OK. Saw them quite a lot. Great band musically, the voice got a bit much after a while.

The Southern Cross Hotel was about 4 blocks away from the Strawberry Hills Hotel.
Southern Cross was definately 457 Elizabeth St. Great venue before it changed to Strawberry Hills Hotel. I lived next door.
